Note in the example above that this particular system is 64-bit (Note System Type towards the bottom of the screen). Be sure that the USB to serial

converter you select is compatible with your computer’s operating system. Pay particular attention if your computer uses a 64-bit operating system.

Several USB to serial converters may not have driver software available for 64-bit systems.

Detect function, follow the steps below.
